About Dunbartonshire Disability Sports Club

The club was created on March 2010 to increase physical activity opportunities for people with disabilities and to promote and raise awareness of disability sports in West Dunbartonshire and the wider surrounding areas.

The club works together with local disability organisations, Scottish Disability Sport, mainstream sports clubs and West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust to:

  1. Organise weekly physical activity sessions for disabled and able bodied children and young people at St Peter the Apostle High School.
  2. Organise disability training courses to educate local sports coaches on how to work with people with disabilities.
  3. Improve accessibility to disability sports equipment for the local community.

The activities we currently provided includes: Boccia, Football, Badminton, Archery, Nature walks, Club Golf, Judo, Tennis, Club visits, Fun games and Holiday camps.
